Meticulously curated and ultimately enticing: KWV launches new wine club, Winemaker’s Selection

KWV is still ecstatic after its recent inclusion in the world’s top 50 wine brands by Drinks International’s World’s Most Admired Wine Brands 2023, as well as being named The Most Admired Wine Brand in the Middle East andAfrica region. Now this celebrated producer is sharing its most admired wines in a convenient format with the launch of an exciting new wine club, called Winemaker’s Selection (#KWVwinemakerselection #KWVWineClub)

This new wine club launched on 1 April 2023 and is a quarterly door-to-door delivery of a curated box of nineKWV wines. This quarterly membership fee of R950 unlocks a whole exciting range of benefits, including premium access to yet-to-be released or unreleased wines and vintages. Other enticing benefits include additional discount on all online and in-store purchases, complementary wine tastings at KWV Emporium, and first option to attend KWV’s exclusive wine dinners and events. Members will also have access to benefits from the wine club’s local brand partners*.

The Winemaker’s Selection’s first curated case, selected by KWV’s award-winning winemakers themselves, is called ‘Simply the Best’ and is a collection of nine KWV wines selected from the Cathedral Cellar, Laborie, The Mentors and Classic collections. Celebrating the joys of food and wine pairing, enthusiasts will further appreciate that this first instalment of the wine club includes food-pairing suggestions for each wine as developed exclusively by KWV Ambassador Chef, Mynhardt Joubert.

“This is the perfect season to introduce a wine club, as people begin to withdraw to their homes for the colder winter. Entertaining at home, with fine wines and the perfect food pairings, is an enjoyable pleasure that KWV fully supports. This indulgent treat is now made so much easier with KWV’s new Winemaker’s Selection club,” said Liandra Kotzé, KWV Executive for Wines.

“I look forward to sharing my own personal selection of KWV’s finest and most enjoyable wines with wine club members,” said KWV Chief Winemaker, Justin Corrans, “KWV is the most admired brand from South Africa, and this first selection for ‘Simply the Best’ will no doubt illustrate why.”
